Jason McAteer
Jason Wynn McAteer (born the June 18th 1971 with Birkenhead, England) is a Football or Irish playing station of offensive medium ground.
It currently carries the colors of the Tranmere Rovers which evolves/moves in Football League One (the third English division), after having played Bolton, Liverpool, Blackburn and Sunderland.
McAteer was selected 52 times in team of Ireland. It took part in two final stages of world cup, in 1994 and 2002.
One of its 3 goals in selection remained famous. In 2001, at the stage of Lansdowne Road, it marks the goal of the victory (1-0) against the Netherlands which qualifies the team of Ireland (however reduced to 10) for the world cup 2002 and eliminates at the same time the Dutchmen.
