Jason Cooper

Jason Toop Cooper , born the January 31st 1967 with London, is a primarily known English musician for his work with The Cure.

Biography

Jason Cooper joined the group The Cure in 1995 during the recording of the album Wild Mood Swings, substitute Boris Williams with the batterie.

Tranchant, by its play more technical and fluid, with its dryness and powerful (but sometimes perfectible) of its predecessor (Jason Cooper is graduate academy of New England), it contributed considerably to an evolution of the group on scene towards a more rigorous play, with depend sometimes on the energy and the naturalness of the group on scene. It east can be for this reason that, more than one decade after having integrated The Cure, he still does not manage to achieve the unanimity within the public of the groupe.

Jason Cooper took part in the recording of the albums Wild Mood Swings (1996), Bloodflowers (2000) and The Cure (2004) like with various sessions of recording except albums (Cogasm with Reeves Gabrels and Robert Smith, Acoustic hits (2001)…) and with the DVD " live" Trilogy filmed at the time of two concerts in Berlin November 11th and 12th 2002.
