Jaska Raatikainen was born on July 18th 1979 with Espoo. It began the battery at the 12 years age, it played of the piano and the horn before. Jaska met Alexi at the school, they realized that they had the same musical tastes, they thus decided to play together and formed Inearthed . It is him which recruited Alexander Kuoppala and Janne Wirman.

Jaska is a very reserved person, he is rare to see it making interviews, he leaves the care to do them in Alexi and Henkka. He is known to drink much, but he can stop and paid attention to his health.

Its career of artist is rather well filled, it played the part of Rauli in three episodes of a series before its death, role in which it could show his talents of beater. In 2000, during the European round of Sinergy, Jaska replaced Tommi Lillman which had broken the leg three days before the beginning of the round; he learned 10 songs from the group in three days. The group thanked it by a dedication on the album which followed the round by specifying that it had saved their round.

He also played for Virtuocity and Evemaster , and with Norther for the Tribute to Chuck Schuldiner of 2002.
