Jaroslav Heyrovský

Jaroslav Heyrovský , born the December 20th 1890 with Prague and deceased the March 27th 1967 in Prague, was a Physicien - Czech Chimiste .

Heyrovský conceived and developed, starting from 1925, the Polarographie, method of analysis by electrochemical way of the Oxydation S and reduction S of the solution S by means of a electrode with mercury drops and accepted for its work, in 1959, the Nobel Prize of chemistry. It directed, starting from 1950, the new institute of polarography at the Karls university in Prague.

The polarography term is reserved being studied by electrochemical way of the reductions and oxidations of species in solution by means of an electrode with mercury drops.
