Jaromir of Bohemia
Jaromir (Jaromír) duke of Bohemia of 1004 with 1012 and of 1033 with 1034.
The brother and successor of Boleslav III of Bohemia, Jaromir had to pay the royal support for its accession with the throne by the tightening of the bonds between Bohemia and the empire and the sending of a quota armed for the campaigns against Poland into 1004,1005,1007 and 1010. In 1012 it is détrôné by his younger brother Ulrich of Bohemia
In 1032 the stronghold confiscated by the emperor with Ulrich is given again to Jaromir which since 1012 vegetated in prison with Utrecht. However to Easter 1034 Ulrich Ier presents himself to the diet of Merseburg and sees himself enjoining to exert with his Jaromir brother a joint suzerainty on Bohemia, It resulted an appalling anarchy from it. Jaromir dies assassinated on November 4th, 1035.
