Jarez

Jarez drift of the Latin Jaresis , it indicates the slopes of the two slopes of the valley of the Gier. It enters designation many communes: Holy-Cross-in-Jarez, Saint-Paul-in-Jarez, Saint-Romain-in-Jarez, etc

The origin of the word Gier is common with that of Jarez.
