• 1 shaku corresponds to 30,3036 cm. Approximately equal to a Foot (unit). The shaku is divided into ten units called sun .
• 1 sun corresponds to 3,03036 cm

Fields of application

The sabers Katana and arcs Yumi have their sizes indicated with these units.
