Japanese atomic energy arranges

The Agency of Japanese Atomic energy (Japanese: 日本原子力研究開発機構|Nihon genshiryoku kenkyū kaihatsu kikō|JAEA) was created on October 1st, 2005 by the fusion of two semi-governmental organizations of the nuclear industry of Japan entitled PNC and JAERI.

International cooperation

In April 2007, JAEA joined a world alliance:
  • Total Nuclear Energy Partnership (GNEP).
The other members of alliance are Areva, Washington Group International, and BWX. It is awaited within alliance that the experience gained on the site of enrichment by centrifigation of Rokkasho becomes a major contribution on behalf of JAEA.

  • Installation of the fast engine of Monju to Tsuruga (敦賀発電所),
  • Center of R & D of Oarai (大洗研究開発センター),
  • Institute of Naka on fusion (那珂核融合研究所),
  • Center of engineering on the environment of Ningyo-toga (人形峠環境技術センター),
  • Research center of Aomori (青森研究開発センター),
  • Institute of Kansai (KPSI) (関西光化学研究所),
  • Quoted of the science of Kansai (京都府木津地区),
  • SPring-8 Synchrotron Prefecture of Hyōgo (スプリングエイト),
  • Research institute advanced of Takasaki on radiations (高崎量子応用研究所),
  • Research center on the underground deposits of Horonobe (幌延深地層研究センター),
  • scientific Center of Tono (東濃地科学センター) in the prefecture of Gifu.
