Japanese Telegraph and Telephone

(,), or NTT , is an telephone operator leader of the market Japanese of the Télécommunication S. Alors in position of Monopole (State enterprise), the firm was Privatisé E in 1985 in order to support the development of competition on the market of the télécoms. The Japanese State however always holds a third of the Capital of NTT. The firm was controlled by Law NTT. NTT having the majority of the lines of telecommunication, it enjoyed a situation of Oligopole on the phone lines in Japan. In order to weaken NTT, the company was divided into 1988 between a holding (NTT) and three other operators of telecommunication (of which NTT Western East and NTT). Law NTT controls NTT East and Ouest so that they are restricted with the communications of short distances, all in their imposing to maintain a phone service in the worldwide. NTT Communication is not controlled.
