Japan Air System

Japan Air System (in Japanese JAS, 日本エアシステム) was the 3rd Airline company Japan ease. Its Code AITA was JD . It was before a a whole interior company even if it ensured of the international flights - it served airports that neither Japan Airlines nor ANNA served.

Its first name was TOA Domestic Airlines (TDA) after a fusion between TOA Airways and Japan Domestic in 1971. In 1988, it took the current name of Japan Air System (JAS).

JAS famous for was delivered its apparatuses. Many those were drawn in the Nineties by Akira Kurosawa and included/understood images abstract and resembling arc-in-ciels.

In 2001, JAS and JAL decided to amalgamate. The October 2nd 2002, they founded new a holding called Japan Airlines System (日本航空システム) and they were recreated as the Japan Airlines group (JAL).

April 1st 2004, the old JAL became Japan Airlines International and Japan Air System (JAS) took the name of Japan Airlines Domestic.

Japan Airlines System was famous Japan Airlines Corporation including/understanding all the marks of JAL. All codes JAS then ceased being used and JAS formally ceased existing.
