1889 ( General sports ): The Union of the French companies of race on foot becomes the Union of the Athletic French companies of Sports (USFSA). Until there exclusively concerned by the Athletics, the Union admits from now on other sports, each one of them being governed by a commission within the USFSA.

1910 ( Hockey ): During a match against the Saint-Patricks of Toronto, Joe Malone registers 7 goals during a victory 10-2 of the Bulldogs of Quebec in the National league of hockey. This record always holds.

1988 ( American football ): On San Diego, the Washington Redskins are essential 42-10 in front of the Denver Broncos on the Super Bowl XXII of NFL.
1993 ( American football ): On Pasadena, the Dallas Cowboys are essential 52-17 in front of the Buffalo Bills on the Super Bowl XXVII of NFL.
