Jannick Top is a Compositeur, Arrangeur, Bassiste French, born with Marseilles.

Biography

After a traditional formation during which he learns the piano, the violoncello and the direction of orchestra, Jannick Top forms its first group with the beater Vincent Séno. It plays there of the double bass.

Member of the group Magma (Bass player and type-setter), it also played in the groups Troc and Fusion, then in solo.

In parallel of this career in the progressive Rock'n'roll, Jannick Top works with artists of the French song such as Michel Berger, France Gall, Nicole Rieu, Jean-Pierre Danel, Jacques Dutronc, Johnny Hallyday or Bernard Lavilliers, but also with artists of the international scene such as Ray Charles, Herbie Hancock, Eurythmics, Richard Cocciante, Bonnie Tyler, Lalo Schifrin, Don Cherry, Ute Lemper or Ennio Morricone.

He is the type-setter of the musics of films of Pierre Jolivet and of the emissions of Nicolas Hulot.
