Janette Bertrand , D.C., (1925 with Montreal, Quebec -) is a Journaliste, actress, feminist writer and Canadian (Québécois).

Biography

She studied in letters with the Université of Montreal, which will lead it to become Journaliste in 1950. With the Small Newspaper , it is seen entrusting a chronicle which sensitizes it with the claim of the feminist .

By afterwards, it becomes radio presenter for the daily program My husband and us , diffused by CKAC during several years.

It became a high-speed motorboat of Québécois television by, inter alia, its role in '' Quelle family! '' (SRC, 1969-1974), a family emission which called upon several members of its own family, of which its husband of then, Jean Lajeunesse. This emission was diffused in France under the title Tremblay .

By afterwards, it animates a Feuilleton televised where people are invited to express itself relative on various subjects which touch people of near: the family, the couple, sexuality, etc For this emission, entitled To speak to speak , it occupies as well research as Scénario.

She will propose dramatic Téléroman S, belonging to the series entitled the love with large has , which tackle discussed subjects, like the Homosexualité and the AIDS.

In October 2005, it publishes the Receipts of Janette , an increased edition of a preceding success of bookseller in Quebec (225  000 copies sold in 1968).

She also wrote some parts of Théâtre.

Its work made it possible to demystify modern and delicate topics, certain taboos, making of it an exceptional popular teacher. Its relation with a man of a score of years younger than it also made the cuff in Quebec during a few years.

In 2006, she writes a song for Céline Dion entitled " Berceuse" setting in music by David Gategno. This song is appeared on the last album of the singer: Of them, left on May 21st, 2007.
