Jane Maria Swift (born the February 24th 1965) is an American political woman of the State of the Massachusetts. Member of the Republican party, it was governor by interim of 2001 with 2003. Swift is the first woman to have been useful as governor of Massachusetts.
Member of a family of politicians irlando-Italian of the County of Berkshire, (Massachusetts), town of North Adams, it learned the policy near his father, who, in the rows of the Republican party, took share actively in the government of the city, the county and the State.
It obtained a diploma with the Trinity College of Hartford (Connecticut) in 1987.
