Jan Weiss is a Czech author novels Fantastique S and of Science-fiction born on May 10th 1892 with Jilemnice, dead on March 7th 1972 with Prague.
Biography
Captive fact and deportee in Siberia during the First World War, it contracts the typhoid fever there; this terrible experiment seems backdrop of the majority of its writings.The Hut Of the Death published in 1927, the Insane Regiment going back to 1930, for example.
Jan Weiss is directed then more and more towards the S.F, with, inter alia, Of the White Horse and the Country of the Grandsons. (in the House On the Thousand Floors Ed.Marabout 1967)
