Jan Sandström

Jan Sandström , born in 1954 in Swedish Lapland, is a Compositeur Swedish of contemporary Classical music.

He belongs to the Swedish type-setters most played throughout the world. In its music, it gives a important role to works for the voice (music choral society and opera) but also composes for instruments.

Its Motorbike Concerto for Trombone is one of the works of a Swedish type-setter most played in world (since its creation in 1989 it was played approximately 600 times). Its second concerto for trombone, Gift Quixote (1994) and both concerti for trumpet (1987 and 1992 /96) are also frequently interpreted.
