Jan Křesadlo

Jan Křesadlo was the primary education pseudonym used by Václav Jaroslav Karel Pinkava (born the December 9th 1926 with Prague, deceased the August 13rd 1995 with Colchester), Czech Psychologue which was also Nouvelliste and Poète.

Anticommunist, Pinkava is expatriate in the United Kingdom with his wife and his four children following the Printemps of Prague - the invasion by the armies of the Warsaw Pact carried out by the Red Army . He worked as psychologist until his early withdrawal in 1982, when he became writer full-time.
