Jan Flinterman

Jan Flinterman is a racing driver Dutch born the October 2nd 1919 with $the Hague and deceased the December 26th 1992 with Leiden.

Old driver of hunting of the Second world war, it takes part in his first automobile races in 1950. Together with Dries van DER Windward side, he was the first Dutch pilot to run in the championship of the world of Formule 1.
He took part that at only one Grand Prix cash for the Championships of the World, the August 17th 1952 with the Grand Prix of the Netherlands 1952. He left in 15th position on the griile departure and giving up with the 7th turn on problem of differential. Its team decides to stop her fellow-member Chico Landi with the 43e turn to make it replace by Flinterman which will finish the race in 9th position with 7 turns of the first. It forever have points with the Championship of the World.

After its short sporting career, he becomes member of the directory of an airline company Dutchwoman.
