Jamyang Khyentsé Wangpo (1820 - 1892)

Jamyang Khyentsé Wangpo was one of largest the Masters of the Bouddhisme Tibetan. He is the founder of the Khyentse line of Bouddhisme Tibetan

He is with Jamgon Kongtrul Lodrö Taye, and Chogyur Lingpa, one of the initiators of the movement Rimé (not-sectarian) which strongly contributed to appaiser the tensions between the various schools of Buddhism Tibetan during the 19th century and 20th century, and today still.

The Sakyapa S recognized it like the incarnation of Champa Namkha Chi-me, and the Nyingmapa S like that of Jigmé Lingpa. Direct holder of thirteen lines, it was regarded as one of the five kings among the hundred Tertön S (discoverers of treasures) major of the tradition Nyingmapa.

Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoché (born in 1961), so known like Khyentse Norbu, is a Bhutanese LAMA and scenario writer. Its two major films are the Cut (film) (1999) and the Travellers and the Magician (2003). He is the author of the book what a Buddhist (Shambhala, 2007) Does not do to You. He is also an eminent tulku associated with the Monastery of Dzongsar in Derge, Tibet of the east. At the seven years age, he was recognized like the 3rd incarnation of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo
