Jamie McMurray

James Christopher " Jamie" McMurray , born the June 3rd 1976 with Joplin (Missouri), is a racing driver American. It runs in 2007 in NASCAR at the wheel of a Ford Fusion (n°26) for the stable Roush Fenway Racing. It full-time takes part in Nextel Cup since 2003.

Biography

There Jamie McMurray carries out its beginnings in NASCAR in 1999 by disputing four races of the Craftsman Truck Series this year. The following season, it is in track for fifteen races of Craftsman Truck Series. It finished once in the five first and four times in the ten.

In 2001, it signs a full-time contract in NASCAR and argument the Busch Series at the wheel of a Chevrolet Monte Carlo (N°27) for the stable Brewco Motorsports. In 2002, it gains two races and finishes sixth with the final classification of the championship.

It begins in 2002 it carries out some races of the NASCAR Winston Cup (today NEXTEL Cup) and removes off the victory with the Bank America 500. It signs full-time in this formula in 2003.
