Jamie Foxx , born Eric Marlon Bishop (Terrell, Texas December 13rd, 1967 -), is a Acteur and American Musicien.
Biography
After studyhaving lengthily studied the music, Foxx played in a multitude of comic televised series. He played in particular in In Living room Color , at the sides of Jim Carrey and of the brothers Wayans. He also made a Sitcom entitled The Jamie Foxx Show .Foxx began the cinema with Toys (1992), but its first dramatic role was that of a Quarterback high-speed motorboat in film of Oliver Stone the Hell of Sunday (1999). He then played in several other films, and in 2004 he received the dedication for his role vis-a-vis Tom Cruise in the action film Collatéral . Since, Foxx in particular held the main role in biographical film on Ray Charles, Ray .
In 2004, Foxx received three nominations with the Golden Globe Award for its role in Ray , Collatéral and for its representation of one named for the Nobel Prize of peace condemned to dead Stanley Williams in the Téléfilm Redemption . The recognition of its work continued with the Oscars of the cinema where its interpretation in Ray has was worth the reward of the best actor to him. He was the third actor Afro-American to obtain this reward, after Sidney Poitier and Denzel Washington. He also received a nomination for the best supporting role in Collatéral , he is it tenth nobody to be named in the two categories the same year. Always with the Oscars of the cinema he was elected better actor of the year 2005.
Foxx is also a singer. In 2004 he sang for the rappor Twista, Slow Jamz , with Kanye West. The song was American number 1 with the hit-parade and number 3 in the United Kingdom. He will repeat later with a featuring on the hit Gold Digger of Kanye West. Previously, it had left an album: Peep This (1994) on the label Fox record . Jamie Foxx delivered a second album, heading Unpredictable , on December 20th, 2005 in the United States on the label J-Records' . The first individual " Unpredictable" with Ludacris is already classified 12th in Billboard. The second individual " Extravaganza" is on the waves.
