James White

James White (April 7th 1928 - August 23rd 1999) is a British author of Science-fiction (of Northern Ireland). Although enough famous in the medium science Anglo-Saxon fiction, only two of its books was published in French.
the Hospital of the Stars and galactic Chirurgien belong to his most known series, Sector General . They tell medical adventures in a space hospital, where extraterrestrial races of all forms and constitutions cross. Treated in a humorous way, a little with the manner of a Jack Vance, these novels do not profit from same will have in our language.
The two French titles available are collections of news. The series also contains novels, whose last one was published in 1999 on a purely posthumous basis. the Hospital of the Stars is regarded as one of the first Space operated S.
