James Rosenquist , born in 1933 with Large Forks, North Dakota, the United States, is an American painter. Influenced by its trade of advertizing painter (on very large sizes), his perception of the things will be modified and it will paint monumental and very coloured paintings, " fragments of réalité".

Number of paintings of Rosenquist are inspired of publicity. At the time of the retrospective organized in 2004 by the Foundation Guggenheim, one could see preparatory joinings of the artist. These joinings are drawn for the majority from publicity, the tobacco, of the cars, or drinks. The best examples are Hey! let' S go for has wrinkle or I coils you with my Ford .
