Biography

James Purefoy was born the June 3rd 1964 in Somerset, England. After having obtained its examinations in London, he became member of the RSC (Royal Shakespeare Company) and played Edgar in " King Lear" , Ferdinand in " The Tempest" and MacDuff in " MacBeth". In the years 1990, it obtained its first role in telefilms and films. James, whose complete name is James Brian Mark Purefoy, also played in other projects like " Sharpe' S Sword" , " Bedrooms and Hallways" and " Maybe Baby". But its first great success came when he played the part of Sir Thomas Colville in Chevalier. A participation in the film adaptation of the video game Resident Evil intervened during the summer 2002.
