James Patrick Kelly (1951, Mineola -) is an American writer of Science-fiction .

He was born in Mineola, in the State of New York in 1951. After having graduated Notre Dame University in 1972, with a baccalaureat in English literature, he worked as technical writer in several business enterprises. Since 1979, it is delivered to the full-time writing. It published news, novels, tests, articles, plays as well as poetry.

It resides at the New Hampshire since 1975. He currently lives with Nottingham (NH) with his Pamela wife.
