James Miller (born the December 18th 1968 - died by firearm, during the turning of documentary May 2nd 2003) was a journalist and producing British independent.

Circumstances of its death

According to a British investigation, James Miller, who carried a bullet-proof jacket with the letters “TV” registered in “big letterss”, was killed intentionally with Rafah by an Israeli soldier whereas it turned a documentary entitled “Death in Gaza.

A British Journalist being identified like " Dan" declared that “James Miller and two other journalists agitated a white flag at the same time as they filmed”. “We were completely visible for the troops, with a white Drapeau marked and waistcoats “ press ”, but these last opened fire all the same, concerning James Miller”, for its part brought back Abdel-Rahman Abdullah, Palestinian independent journalist who was on the spot.

However, the Israeli army had decided in March 2005, at the end 18 months of investigation, not to continue, fault of evidence, the lieutenant suspected of being responsible for its death.

James left behind him two children: a two year old boy and a five month old young girl at the time of the facts.

Death In Gaza

The documentary of James Miller, entitled “ death in Gaza ”, received several prices, including three Emmy Awards with the the United States in September 2005, and that of the festival of films on the human rights “One World 2005” with Prague in May 2005.
