James Marcus

James Marcus is a character of the series Resident Evil created by Capcom.

Born in the the Twenties.
In 1939, Marcus obtains its diploma for the occupation of scientist.
James Marcus is one of the three researchers having discovered the virus stock in the the Fifties with the assistance of Ozwell E. Spencer and of Edward Ashford.
In 1968, he becomes a founding member of Umbrella and accepts the request for Spencer: to be a director of the training center the purpose of which will be to form with criteria strict and rigorous the new generation of model employees which will ensure the future of Umbrella Corporation. This to profit from a special installation and to discover all the secrecies of the virus stock which is only a " loss of temps" for Ozwell E. Spencer. Within the center, two members will draw very clearly from the batch: Albert Wesker and William Birkin respectively called " Al the pragmatique" and " Wil' the intello'".
some September 19th, 1977, Marcus finds a means of creating a new type of germ derived from the virus stock by associating it with DNA of leeches. It names this new virus, the virus " T" like " Tyran". But very quickly, this one realizes that it cannot progress while trying out its new virus on simple rodents and concludes from it that only the human ones are mammals acceptable for its experiments.
the January 13rd of the following year, James Marcus thinking that one suspects it of something on his experiments, finishes developing his leeches and projects " occuper" of Spencer with.
One month later: February 11th, Marcus discovers finally the proof that somebody tries to hook the lock of his laboratory to monopolize his research.
Of February until the June 3rd, 1978, Marcus continues its research on its leeches by testing them on human beings like the scientists too " fouineurs" with its taste. Finally, it decides to place its leeches that it regards as its clean " bébés" in a special capsule in order to hide them. Suspecting that the culprits who want to monopolize his research are not other than Spencer and its " larbins" : a commando of the UBCS, it suggests informing William Birkin and Albert Wesker to deal with this " problème". But actually, these two very ambitious last betray it and deliver it to the commando of the UBCS which carries out it at once, thus collecting the fruit of its work. After the disappearance of James Marcus, the training center is brutally closed.
Actually of 1978 to 1998 started a very long process: the queen mother of the leeches that Marcus affectionnait so much is infiltrated inside the body of this one activating in this manner regeneration of her dead cells. This pseudo " résurrection" he get a kind of eternal youth and brings it closer still more its leeches.
But it is only in 1998 that James Marcus re-appears, decided to be avenged for Umbrella. With the assistance of its leeches it spreads the virus-T through the forest of Raccoon City and attacks in particular Ecliptic Express the July 23rd of the same year, train where Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen makes knowledge afterwards a few hours. These two people causing him serious problems, it has decided to take care some personally and the conduit in its old training center closed for twenty years. Finally, at the end of many tumults, the two fellow-members end up emerging in the treatment plant of waste water of Umbrella which will be the theater of the combat the opponent with Marcus. With resulting from a team work, Rebecca succeeds in unbolting the heavy mechanical shutters which of this fact let the sun illuminate the scene of the combat, the light being the weak point of Marcus. Billy benefits from this occasion to draw a ball to him from Magnum which dislocates it in several parts, those burned by the explosion from the treatment plant.
