Biography

Musical director of the Boston Symphony Orchestrated (BSO) since 2004, James Levine is especially known for its activity of Musical director of the Metropolitan Opera (New York). He was the successor of Sergiu Celibidache with the head of the Philharmonic orchestra of Munich, with a success only mitigated.

It is also him which directed the Symphony orchestra of Chicago for the film Fantasia 2000 (visual sequences on works of classical music).
