James Gleick is New-Yorkais since its tender childhood. It is impassioned very early for sciences. Graduate of Harvard in 1976, it founds the newspaper “Metropolis”, alternate weekly magazine of Mineapolis. Editor and writer during ten years in “NewYork Times”, he becomes also lecturer at the University of Princeton. He collaborates with the photographer Eliot Porter for the work “Nature' S Chaos”, and carries out research on the software. In 1993, it creates “The Pipeline”, Internet site which it directs until 1995. He is also editor association of “Best American Science Writing 2000”. Its book “Isaac Newton”, best-seller of the year 2003, received the Pulitzer Price. The majority of its writings were abundantly translated abroad. James Gleick lives in Hudson Valley with his wife, Cynthia Crossen.
