Code Red is a data-processing Ver created in 2001.

It exploits a hole of safety present in versions 4.0 and 5.0 of the software of Web server Internet Information Services (commonly to call IIS) Microsoft. Its original goal is to take the control of these waiters for launching from them an attack by Denial-of-service (Back), aiming at saturating the resources with a precise Web site, in the species the waiter of the White House. The worm knew one second version called Code Red II.
