James Blunt

Biography

James Blunt was born with Tidiworth, in the Wiltshire, a family of soldiers of father out of wire, and this since generations. James does not derogate from the rule. After having followed studies in the aerospace one, at the university of Bristol-board, it engages in the British armed where it reaches the rank of captain. It takes part in the mission of peace of UNO in ex-Yugoslavia.

It started with violin and piano when it had 7 years then electric guitar at 14 years. During its stay with the Kosovo armed with its guitar, it becomes aware of its interest for the music and composes the song " No Bravery" who tells his experiment of the war. It leaves the army in 2002 and is devoted fully to its passion. James gives its first concert into live to Water Rats in London. In 2003, it leaves for Los Angeles where it meets Linda Perry (group 4 Non Blondes). This one works in particular with Pink and Christina Aguilera " beautiful".

It is in 2004 that it records its first album, Back to Bedlam . With her pure voice, limpid and so strange, James Blunt, while using the technique of the falsetto, manages in 10 titles to allure many people. Individual the You' Re Beautiful is number one in many countries and announces a long career.

Beginning 2006, it gains NRJ Music Award of the international revelation of the year and starts a world tour, it will make the first parts of Jason Mraz in the United States. James has been the first British for nine years, after Elton John, to seize the first place of the sales in the United States. In 2006 James in the movement anti war (LIVING ROOM WITH WAR TODAY) took part founded by Neil Young, with dimensions artists as System off has down, Esther Galil, Pink….

It took part in the Live Earth in London in 2007.
