Jamel Debbouze is a Acteur, Coproducteur, Executive producer French of Moroccan origin born on June 18th 1975 with Paris.

It only occurs in scene in spectacles of one-man show or Stand-up. Biography

Jamel Debbouze is born in the 10th district from Paris on June 18th, 1975. His/her parents, originating in the area of Oujda with Taza, reinstall themselves in Morocco in 1976, then return in France in 1979. They live Trappes (Yvelines), where Jamel, the elder one of the phratry: Mohamed, Hayat, Karim, Rachid and Nawel, will pass all his childhood.

Noticed by Alain Degois, director of the theatrical company of improvisation CATCH THEATER known as " Papi" , Jamel makes its beginnings with the theater and will go finally from the championship of France junior of the Ligue of French improvisation.

In 1995, it is located by the owners of Radio operator Nova, Jacques Massadian and Jean-François Bizot, which will return it celebrates (Jacques Massadian will become its agent besides). It begins then on Radio Nova, with his chronicle “ the Cinema of Jamel ” which begins right before the emission hip-hop " the cut-killer show" , then it makes its televisual beginnings about 1996-1997 on Paris Première, chain of the cable rather confidential at the time in an emission coproduite by Radio Nova and chains it. It will launch the version televised of the Cinéma of Jamel on Canal+ in (1998). On this same chain, it takes part shortly after in the successful series, H at the sides, inter alia, of comic the Eric and Ramzy.

He plays in films like Zonzon (1998), the fabulous destiny of Amélie Poulain (2001) and Astérix & Obélix: Mission Cléopâtre (2002) which will have much success in France. It makes also an appearance in the clip " dirty the gosses" of Dadoo

In 2005, leaves the film Angel-A , realized by Luc Besson.

In 2006, it turns in historical film Indigènes (that it coproduit), paying homage to the North-African soldiers having fought for France during the Second world war. For this film, it received with Samy Naceri, Roschdy Zem, Sami Bouajila and Bernard Blancan the price of male interpretation of the 59 {{E}} edition of the Cannes festival for Indigènes .

Always in July 2006, Jamel presents the “Jamel Comedy Club” on Canal+.

Very near to the king of Morocco, Mohammed VI, and supported by friends of weight like Luc Besson and Gerard Depardieu, Jamel Debbouze ambitionne since a few years to equip its country of origin with a “Hollywood of the desert”, a whole of studios of turning which would ensure of work many autochtones. Currently, it launches the young person Karim ZAKRAOUI who to make sketches called " The Karim Show".

Jamel is godfather of a named association “the merry hour” and association R.Style (R.Style), Collectif of artist hip hop Dj, graff, dance…

He is also the president of the football club FC Trap doors.

The January 17th 1990, whereas it crosses the ways to the station the SNCF of Trappes, Jamel is grabbed by the train Paris-Nantes launched to 150  km/h. It loses the use of its right-hand man following this accident, during which another young person of its knowledge finds death. Jamel Debbouze was continued for manslaughter following the death of the young man and obtained a withdrawal of case.

It will cancel into 2004 the spectacles of its round envisaged with the Réunion, officially for medical reasons. According to the parents of the victim it is in fact to avoid the embarrassment, the Admette family having announced its intention to remember to its memory at the time of its spectacles.
