Jamal Al-Atassi
Jamal Al Atassi (1922 - 2000) (Arab: جمالالأتاسي) was a nationalist Arabic, a politician and a writer Syria N. It is one of the first ideologists to have joined the Parti Baath Syrian can after its creation. Doctor Jamal is resulting from a famous Syrian political family, the family Atassi whose most famous member was Hachem Al-Atassi. He made his studies at the university of Damas or he has off accepted in 1947 the title of Doctor Philosophy in Clinic psychology. He exerted his trade of 1950 with 1958 in his birthplace, Homs. He makes his entry in the political scene thanks to the nationalist movement represented by Gamal Abdel Nasser. He strongly supported the union of the Syria and the Egypt, which formed the United Arab Republic in 1958. He became editor association of the newspaper nassérien Al Jamaheer (masses) until the end of the union in 1961. After the Coup d'etat of Kouzbari, it enters the opposition pro-reunification.
