Jama Masjid

The Jama Masjid is principal the Mosquée Vieux Delhi in India. It was built of 1644 with 1656 under the reign of the emperor moghol Shâh Jahân which desired to build a counterpart of the Moti Masjid contruite by the emperor moghol Aurangzeb. It is the largest mosque of India.

The April 14th 2006, a Friday, holy day of the Islam, two explosions, one with 17:26 and the other with 17:33, wound thirteen people in the mosque.
