• Foire with the oysters (1st weekend of December) does not exist any more! it is arrété with the 24e fair.
• " Jallais in Marché" 1st week end of December with a market on the place of the Town hall
• Festival Green Nights the last week end of July, festival of music gathering 8000 people over 2 days.

Places and monuments

• Castle of Chapronnière, of 16th, 18th and 19th centuries, pure style angevin, which was the theater of events during the royalist rising in favor of the duchess of Berry in 1832, where was assassinated the general Jacques-Joseph de Cathelineau, wire of the généralissime Cathelineau. The castle in ruin, towards 1850, will be sold with the Courtois family, of Beaupréau, which will restore it partly little time afterwards.
