Jake to the Bone
Jake to the Bone is an instrumental piece of the type Jazz fusion of the group of Rock Californien Toto, which is reproduced on their eighth disc studio, Kingdom off Desired .
The piece
Being instrumental (without words), the title is not very significant; the group wanted the heading thus without particular reason.
This title is the first of the type Jazz rock'n'roll that the group composed. Another instrumental, Don' T stop me now had already been recorded in 1986 on the album Fahrenheit but it was not about a fusion of Rock and Jazz, but only of jazz. This fusion of these two musical genres modified the sound of the group, more electric than in the Années 1980.
On this instrumental, fronts of Guitares are proposed, mixing with the solos with Piano and the section low battery/. A solo of two minute old guitar in the middle of the piece and an energetic end come to supplement the unit.
Jake to the Bone , piece reference of the jazz rock'n'roll, was selected thereafter to be reproduced on the second album Live of Louse, Livefields .
