Matador vaillantissime, excel muletero , perfect carrying out Estocade, Jaime Ostos was one of the most important “traditional” matadors of the Sixties, vis-a-vis matadors plus “baroques” such as “El Cordobés”. Its career continued until 1977.

Beginnings as a public: Écija on June 1st 1952 at the sides of Bartolomé Jiménez Torres. Novillos of the Ganadería of Juan Belmonte.
Beginnings in Novillada with Picador S: Osuna (Spain, province of Seville) the April 5th1953 at the sides of Jiménez Torres and Braulio Lausín. Novillos of the ganadería of Arturo Pérez Fernández.
Confirmation of alternative to Madrid: May 17th1958. Godfather, Antonio Bienvenida; witness, Gregorio Fernández. Bulls of the ganadería of Juan Cobaleda.
