Jaime Bayly

Jaime Bayly is a writer Peruvian, born with Lima the February 19th 1965 and living in Miami (the United States).

In 1994, the publication of its first novel No lo digas has nadie ( do not say it to anybody ) causes an enormous scandal with the Peru who reports autobiographical history of a young presenter of television cocaine addict and homosexual which has innumerable adventures with footballers, actors of telenovelas , or politicians, married most of the time or been engaged, and which denies their homosexuality. Its modern and fast style uses with accuracy the Peruvian slang. Jaime Bayly published ten novels which were well sold in Spain and in several countries of Latin America. The majority are of inspiration autobiographical and denounce with humor hypocrisy, distorts it religiosity and the homophobie Peruvian good company, from which the author is resulting. It obtained in 1997 the Price Herralde, one of most prestigious of Spain for " The noche be virgen".

Large admiror of Mario Vargas Llosa, Jaime Bayly publishes novels, from which the intrigues occur to Lima and Miami.
