Jah Mason , born Andre Johnson, is a singer of Reggae jamaïcain. This Bobo Dread began its career thanks to Junior Reid which produced it on its label JR production. One day whereas it recorded at Junior Reid it saw passing Capleton towards Riverview. Jah Mason, which had a cassette on him, proposed to make him listen to some sounds. Thus Jah Mason joined the crew David House.

In parallel, it records the many individual one on the label Flames of Tony Rebel (with which it has family ties) of which, inter alia, the hits Natural Vegetable and Money dem has run down . Jah Mason always left its first album Keep your joy on the label River Nile Production thanks to Tony Rebel.

Each following year is the occasion for Jah Mason to leave a new album, Working so hardware then Unlimited , Never Give Up , Most Royal and Surprise Dem which leaves at the same time in 2004 out of two different labels, respectively on Jah Warrior and Viking production.

In 2005 it leaves the album Rise less appreciated by the critic.

In 2006 it leaves the title My Princess Gone/The saga bed at VP Records with the participations Dean Fraser (sax), Earl Chinna Smith (guitar), Leroy Wallace (battery), or Sticky Thompson (percussions).
