Jacques de Créquy

Jacques de Créquy , known as of Heilly , known under the name of Marshal of Guyenne.

It ordered the army of Jean without Peur, Duc of Burgundy, against the revolted Liege ois (1408); was named in 1413 general lieutenant in Guyenne; was opposed initially successfully to the efforts of the English, but was made prisoner with Bordeaux. Being itself escaped hands of the enemy, it attended the Bataille of Azincourt (1415), was taken again and put at death.
