Jacques V ( Seumas V in Scottish Gaelic or James V in English), born the April 10th 1512 with Linlithgow, dead the December 14th 1542 with the Palate of Falkland, wire of Jacques IV of Scotland and Marguerite Tudor, king of Scotland of 1513 with 1542. It was, with his father, one of the last kings of Scotland to be expressed in Scottish Gaélique like Native tongue.

Jacques V was only one year old when his/her father was killed with the Bataille of Flodden Field. Regency was entrusted to Jean d' Albany until in 1524.

Jacques V leagued with François Ier, king de France, against Charles Quint. The war burst with England of Henri VIII. Jacques V was demolishes in Solway Moss, and died a few days later, on December 14th, 1542.

In January 1537, it married with Paris one of the two girls of François Ier and Claude of France, Madeleine de France born with Saint-Germain-in-Bush hammer in 1520.
