Jacques Jouet is a writer French born on October 6th, 1947. He is member of the Oulipo.

At the same time Poet, Novelist, Short story writer, author of Theater, Essay writer, and artist plastics technician (it carries out joinings), Jacques Jouet is member of the Oulipo since 1983. Its first contact with Oulipo was, in 1978, a training course of writing directed by Paul Fournel, Georges Perec and Jacques Roubaud.

Jacques Jouet also takes part, like the oulipiens François Caradec, Paul Fournel and Herve Tellier, with the Papous in the head on France Culture.

Its serial the Republic of Mek Ouyes was diffused simultaneously on this radio and the Web, through the site of its editor P.O.L
