Jacques Sivan

Jacques Sivan is a Poète French born in 1955 with Barcelonnette.

Biography

Jacques Sivan started to publish in the review TXT animated by Christian Prigent. Wondering about the language, it has from the start explored the phonetic potentialities of the poetic language. As from 1989, with Jean-Michel Espitallier and Vannina Maestri they found the Revue JAVA which will become the place of crossings of all the experimental écriturs during fifteen years, until its last number in 2004.

Dependant on its work of writing, it developed public readings in France and abroad. Little by little opening with the possibilities offered by the technique as well to the noise level as at the visual level, it ets put to work with artists musicians or vidéastes.
