Jacques Shirt (realizer)
Jacques Maillot is a Réalisateur French born the April 12th 1962 with Besancon.
After studies with the the Institute of Political Studies of Lyons, he worked with the French Cinémathèque like conscientious objector.
He carried out 4 short films: Of the cut flowers (1992), 75 centilitres of prayer (1994), flammable Bodies (1995), and Between sky and ground (1995) which obtained many prices in the festivals: special price of the jury to the International festival of the short-measuring of Clermont-Ferrand and Price Jean-Vigo for 75 centilitres of prayer and nomination with the césars for flammable Bodies .
In 1999, it carried out a feature-length film Our lives happy selected in official competition with the Cannes festival. In 2002, it carried out of it a second Froid like the summer . Product and diffused by Arte, this film obtained the Prix Italia in 2003.
