Jacques Selosse , born on April 12th, 1923 with Lestrem in the Pas-de-Calais, deceased on November 9th, 1995, is teacher and professor emeritus of social Psychologie.

Biography

After having obtained the baccalaureat in 1941, it Marie on August 11th, 1944 with Genevieve Charles. He makes his license of philosophy to Lille, is bachelor of arts in 1945 and graduate of the Institute of Filmologie of the University of Paris in 1952 (memory of psychology: “Contribution to the study of the personality of the spectator of cinema”).

It is recruited as teacher with Savigny-sur-Orge in 1946. In 1950, it is in charge in Savigny of the first class of improvement for delinquents in observation. In 1951, it joins the opening Training center and Studies of Supervised Education with Vaucresson.

It leaves in 1952, in Rabat, for five years and half. It is there responsible for the Service of forsaken childhood and Supervised Education. It returns from Morocco in 1958 to take the responsability for the studies of the Center of Vaucresson where he is initially assistant editor. It begins research there, makes a thesis entitled “Research on the dynamics of the Acculturation to the Morocco” in the Sorbonne which it supports on December 8th, 1969.

In 1963, it is in charge of research to CNRS, then senior research worker (1970). It integrates higher education as university lecturer in 1972, professor without pulpit in 1973, professor of 2nd class in 1978 and finally professor of 1st class in 1980. Of September 1st, 1975 until 1980, he is director of the Training center and Research of the Supervised Education of Vaucresson. At the end of its detachment, it is reinstated as professor of Genetic psychology in the University of Lille III, of 1980 to 1984. He is affected professor of social psychology clinical at the University of Paris VIII in 1984 and named professor emeritus in 1988. He is also expert in youthful Criminologie near the the Council of Europe of 1968 to 1980. He carries out many missions of council near various organizations and associations.
