Jacques Rabemananjara
Jacques Rabemananjara is a writer and Malagasy politician of French language, author in particular of On the steps of the evening , which was one of the great figures of the political world and arts person of Madagascar. It was born in June 23rd 1913 in Maroantsetra and is deceased the April 2nd 2005 in Paris.
Hero of Malagasy independence, Jacques Rabemananjara, one of the founders of the MDRM (Democratic movement for the Malagasy Restoration), elected appointed of Madagascar in 1946, was condemned to the forced labors for the rebellions of 1947 directed by the MDRM then amnestied in 1956; he regained his island only in 1960. He was then appointed there, minister and vice-president, before exiling itself again in France after the coup d'etat of 1972.
