Jacques Monory

Jacques Monory is a French painter, born on June 13rd 1924.

He lives and works with Cachan. Training of graphic designer-painter-fresquiste-decorator in a school of Applied arts. he worked ten years at L `editor of art Delpire (artistic director). Jacques Monory is in contact with the universe of the photographic documents, the reproductions, the magazines and books of Article.

Jacques Monory was one of the principal representatives of the current of the " Figuration narrative" , which, in the Années 1960, was opposed at the same time to abstracted painting, geometrical, kinetic or abstract and with the art of the Realistic Nouveaux.
