Jacques Maziol
Jacques Maziol , French politician, born the January 13rd 1918 with Aurillac, deceased on June 28th, 1990 with Paris. Rest with Mourjou (Cantal).
Bachelor of law, it is made prisoner of war, it is lawyer at the Court of Appeal of Toulouse. Member of RPF since 1947, it directs the Republican-social party of his department in 1956, it is elected appointed (UNR) of Haute-Garonne in 1958 and 1962. He is vice-president of this group to the National Assembly. He is Minister for Construction in the governments of Georges Pompidou (1 and 2) from April 14th, 1962 to January 8th, 1966. For this reason it defends and makes adopt by the Parliament a private bill emanating from the group UNR deciding that the tenants of HLM will be able from now on to buy their apartment.
Jacques Maziol is managing director of Radio Monte Carlo of 1966 to 1973 then president of the Company of installation of Corbier (Bag) and the Gedri company as from 1974.
He had sat at central committee of the RPR.
He was general adviser of Haute-Garonne and city council man of Toulouse.
