Jacques Maurras (Jacques, Henri) (born on May 10th 1917 with Dijon, Coast-with Or, dead in February 2004), Journalist French, president and adviser of various companies and Royalist personality related to the movement of the French Action.
Biography
Jacques Maurras is the son of the surgeon Joseph Maurras (brother of Charles) died in the Tonkin in 1917 and of Mrs. Maurras, born Henriette Bremond. His/her uncle and adoptive father were Charles Maurras, director of the daily newspaper the French Action and leader of the royalist movement of the same name. After the advertisement of died of his brother, Charles had adopted his new born Jacques and his nieces Helene and Jeanne.
Jacques Maurras continues studies with the College Janson-with-Sailly and the Faculty of Law of Paris. Thereafter, it is graduate Private school of the political sciences and bachelor of law. His/her adoptive father had not had the means of offering to him a medical career like his father and had rather directed it towards Sciences Po.
Combatant during the Second world war, it remains however faithful to the French Action and, in particular, to the group of Students of French Action where it found friendly close relations of the time like Jean Bruel and Jean-Baptiste Biaggi. In 1950, a booklet entitled Letter with Mister the director of the " New York herald" is published under its name (but the true author of this letter is Charles Maurras); this letter tries to explain the attraction for the Collaboration of Robert Brasillach, for example, by its formation with the Teacher training school, which was guilty with the eyes of Maurras to have directed systématiquent the interests of his students for Germany.
In 1952, Jacques accompanied his adoptive father until his death with Clairvaux in company by Dr. François Daudet, wire of Leon Daudet and godson of the late one. During the years 1950, Jacques Maurras collaborates occasionally in the French Nation of Pierre Boutang and Michel Vivier, re-examined which asserts heritage of his/her father. June 8th, 1961, he marries Miss Nicole Lombard. Mrs Jacques Maurras also takes share upon the royalist engagement of her husband and still takes part in several linked activities with the successors of the French Action. Jacques Maurras had given his support and had lent his moral authority to the movement national Restauration with, in particular, Guy Costing of Saisseval, another royalist of long time. He lengthily belonged besides to the management Committees of the French Action (RN).
Jacques Maurras had a great number of files and correspondences of his father which were consulted by many historians. They were deposited with the Public records after its death. Helene Maurras, her sister, has it also a considerable share of this collection, regularly consulted by the researchers.

As a director or a various adviser of company, Jacques Maurras had occupied of many stations during his career:- Directing of the Company Paris-In addition to-sea (1946 - 1958);
- Directing of Company Pierre River and Co (1958 - 1964);
- Executive vice president (1965), then general President-director (1969 - 1980) of the company continental Famous brands;
- President-delegate of the National confederation of the wines and spirits (foreign trade) (1970-1984), President (1967);
- Honorary president (1996 - towards 2004) of the Federation of the importers of wines and spirits;
- Administrator of the International fair of the food (1969 - 1994);
- To advise Foreign trade of France (since 1973);
- Member of honor of the management committee of the International federation of the wines and spirits (since 1991);
