Jacques Mallet

Jacques Mallet, born in 1913, is Compagnon of the Release.
He is Polytechnicien of promotion 1931. Present in the United States at the time of the Armistice, it returns to France in 1941 and immediately puts at the service BCRA. It provides information on the manufacture of armaments in France then, on order of London, escapes by Spain. In England, it is charged by BCRA with a mission in France intended to draw up an economic state foreseeable of France with the Release, and the needs to satisfy in priority. Its finished mission, in December 1943, he does not manage to join England, and then ensures the representation of the Provisional government in all the Southern zone. From August 1943 in May 1944, it carries out many missions of inspection and reorganization in the maquis of the alpine area.
After the war, Jacques Maillet occupies of many functions in the aircraft industry, of which presidency of the Intertechnique company.
He is in addition the first president (1996 - 2006) of the Association X-Resistance, refondée in 1996 starting from the X-Resistance group, active just after the second world war.
